The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an organisation that assesses and accredits higher education Institutions (HEIs) in India. It is an autonomous body funded by University Grants Commission of Government of India. Many companies visiting different campuses in India prefer to hire students studying in higher NAAC accredited colleges with ‘A+’ grades. This increases the student’s chance to be hired by different companies increasing the diversity of career opportunities available to students on campus. This same grading system is considered by international universities when they consider the applicants from India.
